Schools get in on the holiday chaos too with all the e-mails I got about gift cards, and food sign-ups and volunteers for the party, and book exchanges. With us heading out of town the next day I was hesitant to get too involved but managed to put in a few hours hopping back and forth between classrooms. How do moms with more than two in school do it?
Above is Weston's teacher, Mrs Duhon. She runs a tight ship, no messing around here. She's had me doing dictation for "You are special books" for the kids (e.g. Weston is special because...). So I made one for her and it was fun to hear what these Kindergartners think is special about their teacher. She loved it and the kids were so proud of their contribution.
