One thing I noticed and loved instantly in Cedar Park is all the live oaks. Apparently almost 50% of the street trees here are Texas Live Oaks. They are awesome trees that branch out and dip in different directions sometimes bending their branches low enough to touch the ground and are bent perfectly for hanging a swing in. I enjoy walking Emma to school and admiring these trees on the way. There's a nice little group of them just down the street from us that provide a fun and shady climbing place for the kids.

It's nice to be somewhere green with real trees.
